Dear Members
Due to very heavy aircraft
scheduling during the summer months.
The board of directors will be discussing some possible changes at the Board
meeting June 10th 7pm at our hanger.
I would like to enable a feature called standby
scheduling that is built into Schedule Master (SM) .
This enables a second person to schedule a time slot and to be move into that
slot automatically if the primary schedule maker happens to cancel. SM would
give that standby pilot a calculated amount of time to confirm, if not confirmed
in time they also are deleted.
The other topic is weather to put limits on how much
time can be scheduled. Both areas to be discussed are; the length of one single
schedule. Should the limit be 14 days unless approved by the board?
The other is more complicated. To
make the schedule less full should one user be limited on there total time in
the schedule. Remember we_re talking about the
next 90 days in SM
Proposed limits are
25 days = 600 hours
20 days = 480
hours
Unless more is approved by the Board
SM will automatically limit the time, so no management
is needed
I feel this may be a way for more pilots to have
access to better schedules during peek times, making our club better for all.
Please if you have an opinion. I want to hear it.
Please attend the meeting or simply email me and I_ll
share it with the group. Don_t delay the meeting is
Tuesday night.
Thanks_ Your President_. Bill Zerfas
