Dear Members of T-Craft Aero Club,
The Board of Directors in reviewing or insurance and
via correspondence with Avemco. Has
found that we are expected to check member_s
documents for currency. Namely you_re
Bi Annual Flight Review and your medical certificate.
We have found out that Avemco
will not cover any pilot operating out of currency in case of a mishap. We feel
this puts the clubs aircraft at a high risk since the member may not be able to
buy us a new one if not covered. Also be advised that this is a notice to all,
the importance of being current in all aspects (not limited to) Medical, BFR,
Night, Carrying passengers, IFR. Backcountry.
Jeff Beers and Gordon Hall will be surveying your
files to see if you are up to date as time allows. If you have not put in a
copy of your latest BFR and Medical in your file, feel free to send them in and
they will do it for you.
If they find your not up to
date, it may cause interruption of flying privileges.
Flying out of currency makes you completely liable for
any claims, at fault or not
AVEMCO WILL NOT COVER IT!
